Weekly Update – 9/1/2017 Sep 1 - TheFeelTrain
This week at Installation 01 our leaders are away at PAX West.
You might be able to spot their shiny bald heads if you happen to be in Seattle this weekend. Here's their pictures again just in case you somehow have forgotten what their beautiful faces look like.
If you detect any slipspace ruptures in the shape of these men, make sure you say hi. They'll also be live Tweeting from @Installation01 if you want to take out the guess work and get their exact position. Honestly, I'm just glad the people are making their way to the best timezone there is. Everyone knows west coast is best coast.
Here's an update that's both short, and stout.
Yet another talented 3D modeller has succumb to our glorious sphere of influence. His name is Tyler, also known as Toler Supreme. He's typed up this essay for his introduction.
Tyler: "Heyyo, my name is Tyler Klimek (Toler Supreme online) and I'm a soon to be graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. I'm graduating this December with a double major in Game Design and Development - Art Concentration and Business Administration. I've been playing games since Banjo Kazooie when I was 4 years old, and I've developed an intense passion for creating not only art, but vivid and immersive content. When I'm not working on 3D modeling, texturing, or animating, I'm usually found spending time gaming, composing original music, or working on my YouTube channel, Ugly Roach. Halo has always been my largest gaming related passion, so when given an opportunity to work on an independently produced Halo game I was clearly on board! This project has become a huge dream for many fans, and to be part of the development team is amazing!"
Glad to have you on the team!
Bungie recently did a complete overhaul of their website Bungie.net. It's been quite a while since they've changed things up, but it was always inevitable. You know what that means...
Since the original is gone, the Installation 01 website is now completely and utterly original! Because that's definitely how it works.
There were actually some changes I've been meaning to make, but I didn't want to stray too far from the Bungie.net design. Now that those restrictions are lifted, you may start to see some aspects of the website changing very soon™.
Have you ever wondered why we haven't revealed anything new lately? Well look no further than Halo 3, the ultimate time black hole. If it wasn't such a masterpiece of a game, and if Bean wasn't so suseptible to the call of nostalgia, Installation 01 would have already been released three years ago. Now all there is to do is wait.
I'm sorry for the lack of quality and content this week, but we're actually working nonstop to make Installation 01 the best game it can possibly be. I'll catch you again next week with something a little more juicy than what this week had to offer.
Maybe we should recruit a writer to help ease the pain. If you think you have the writing skills to pay the bills, shoot me a message on Discord. You never know, you might end up being the Cozmo to my DeeJ.
