Orchestral Pianist / Copyist

Working with our team of composers and sound engineers to create beautiful, high-quality orchestral music that heavily focus on the piano.

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of writing full orchestra music sheets
  • A recording setup available to you
  • The ability to work with a team composers and sound engineers
  • Experience and a decent portfolio

Environment Builder / Set Dresser

Set dress and create stunning environments for the multiplayer maps of Installation 01. Create, edit, iterate, and organize various scenes in collaboration with designers, concept artists, and 3D artists.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiar with level creation in games with appropiate engine experience (Preferably Unity)
  • Keen eye for detail and environmental storytelling
  • Organized, proactive and good interpersonal skillset
  • Ability to effectively convey and communicate ideas within a team. (maps are a group effort)
  • Ability to work both independently and with direction

Vegetation Artist

Creating natural and organic models to enhance Installation 01's various multiplayer maps. Including but not limited to trees, bushes, foilage, vegetation, and flowers. Previous experience modelling and texturing these things is highly recommended.

What We're Looking For

  • 3D modelling and/or sculpting experience
  • Use of industry grade practices such as PBR workflow and high to low poly methodology
  • Organized, proactive, and good interpersonal skillset
  • Able to work with concept art to create optimised and beautiful vegetation pieces
  • Ability to work both independently and with direction

Assistant Community Manager / Writer

Create entertaining and engaging written articles on a monthly schedule to deliver new information to the fans. Mostly Team & Community Focus articles but also the occasional weekly update.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent understanding of grammar, paragraph structure, and general sentence flow
  • Ability to emulate the tone and style of Bungie's website content from the 2000s
  • Organized, proactive, and good interpersonal skillset to interview team and community members
  • Strong passion for sarcasm and puns

Concept Artists

Expanding on the game's visuals by creating inspiring and innovative designs for 3D artists to use in game content creation, including but not limited to: environments, weapons, armor, and props. Portfolio demonstrates good understanding of the elements of art and strong design skills.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in drawing, sketching, or painting, preferably with digital mediums
  • Understanding of form, shape, composition, lighting, color, and architecture
  • Strong industrial design skills
  • Ability to iterate with constructive criticism and work professionally with others
  • Bonus: Understanding of both human and Covenant anatomy

Animators

Animating first-person, third-person, weapon, vehicle models. Include a demo showreel which communicates your understanding of core animation principles of physicality, natural movement, and timing. Experience rigging and skinning is preferable. You must use 3DS Max -- Maya, Blender and other animation toolsets are not directly compatible with our workflow.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency animating in 3DS Max
  • Understanding of core animation principles

  • Ability to adopt the team's animation workflow

3D Artists

Creating weapons, armor, vehicles, structures, and props with industry-standard software, preferably using a high poly to low poly workflow. Include examples of models you've made previously. You must also be capable of adapting your designs to fit the game's art style and feel.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiarity with industry-standard softwares (3DS Max, Maya, Blender)
  • High poly to low poly workflow
  • Experience baking and texturing (PBR only)
  • Ability to iterate on designs and to adapt to the team's artistic style

Programmers

Gameplay features, networking, optimization, etc. Familiarity with developing in Unity is an absolute pre-requisite. A portfolio might include code excerpts or linked GitHub repositories from previous projects. You will be evaluated on readability, efficiency, use of syntax, and your understanding of object/class oriented structures and where to use each appropriately.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency writing C#
  • Experience working with the Unity engine
  • Good documentation and comment practices
  • Basic Git knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a team
  • Bonus: Experience with networking using Photon Bolt
