Hello there. This is an update for the week of August 12, 2018. I'm your host, TheFeelTrain, and I'll be guiding you through this update via the power of written language. But not just any language. It's the overly sweet, cream filling of verbiage you've grown so accustomed to.

You might notice that this update is severely lacking in the "new reveals" department. Unfortunately, there are just too many balls in the air for us to juggle without letting a few fall to the ground. You'll receive some more explicit details about those balls in the weeks ahead.

For now, we all have to settle for whatever this is.

I Dream of Streams

Instead of another stale live Q&A stream where we answer the same set of questions we always do, we've been encouraging our artists to stream their creative process. JLoughlen is the first of hopefully many to actually host one. In case you missed it, here is the mostly muted Twitch stream of JLoughlen modeling a crane for our map Factory.

You should see some more streams from a handful of other artists in the future. Programmers on the other hand will continue to work behind the scenes so they don't expose the game's internals. The last thing we would want is the government to come around asking about indecent exposure.

Changelog

Last week, we unleashed the Soon Studios sign in upon the world. This made a lot of people confused and upset and was widely regarded as an "okay" move. We've heard you-- yes, you specifically-- and have made some small changes that should make things a bit better. We've compiled said changes into an easily-digestible list, also called a "changelog."

• Accounts that used Xbox Live or a password to sign up will show the default profile picture (for now)
• Signing up now redirects you to the profile page (oops)
• Some rogue textboxes have been hidden on smaller screens and phones
• The profile page on soonstudios.net is marginally prettier

We appreciate your feedback in this transition period. If you discover any more bugs in the new system be sure to let us know in our Discord server. Also remember that if you made an Installation 01 account before August, then you already have a Soon Studios account. Just hit the "Sign in with Google" button.

Blame Bean

Have you ever seen a miracle?

A few weeks ago, a photograph of Bean finishing a race was leaked onto the internet. Many, including those of us on The i01 Team, believed that it was photoshopped. However, this exclusive new footage proves that the race was real. TheChunkierBean has officially finished at least one thing. This can only bring us hope for the future of Installation 01's development.
